This is an awesome site for an intergration of Language Arts and Science using the book, Diary of a Worm. It provides the lesson plan, standards, web resources, student materials, and links the lesson to research based theory. It ties into the Grade 2 Science curriculum standards related to Soils. This site also provides teachers with excellent concept and story maps.
